They never knock one off for pleading guilty though, they just add one on for a frivolous appeal which they must have deemed this wasn't. Correct decision for me, even if Evans was talking bollocks.

Out of curiosity, I looked Jeffers up on Wiki to see where he is now. He last played for Newcastle Jets in Australia but left because 'he was unable to cope with the Australian diet'.

I went to a Gillingham game a couple of years ago in the season they were doing really well and got promoted back to the First Division. It was a 1-0 win against Accrington who had Jeffers and Beattie playing. That was kinda cool but weird.

Something I've just come across when reading about the Evans/Cisse spitting incident and the nonsense at Villa Park yesterday.

The referee, Anthony Taylor is from Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester. How does he get appointed to referee a Man Utd match?
