He can play in the centre as well. And even if he's more comfortable at left back, they obviously see enough in him to be better than what we have. This doesn't really feel like a panic buy to me.

He's a left footed centre back but played left back for Argentina. I'd imagine he'll play the left of 3 CBs in the 3-5-2 if that's what they stick with.

Only know what I've seen of him in City's pre-season. Good player going forward, has a good shot in him. If Valencia give him game time, I've got a feeling he'll be a great loan signing. Some of our fans see him as a long term replacement for Yaya.

Shame he isn't staying, but he's not getting in at centre mid ahead of Toure and the Two Ferns.
