The Summer Transfer Window Thread 2014/15

City's system is having Yaya and Fernando/dinho sitting with two wide players and one floating behind a striker. Usually when they adapt it they bring off an attacking midfielder and push Yaya on. His versatility means he's going to get consistent appearances but he doesn't fit and isn't better than any players filling the central roles at City.

He's a fine player and found himself a nice niche at City. He could definitely get into another team but I don't see how City ruined him.

They didn't ruin Sinclair or Rodwell either, they were both average and still are. They knew what they were getting into when they signed for City and took the money.

It's not all bad for Sinclair, he has a pile of money and a fit girlfriend whilst hardly working. He's living the dream.

So do 95% of the PL footballers that actually get to play PL football more than once a month.

Meh, Barca are gonna say one thing and we are going to say another. Could easily be 10mil in add-ons who knows.

But at the same time, I wouldn't trust what Barca say when it comes to transfer fees...especially after the whole Neymar debacle.

"Confirmation from Portugal that Manchester United winger Nani has re-joined former club Sporting Lisbon. Nani only signed a new five-year deal last summer but was evidently not part of Louis van Gaal's plans. His move is expected to be tied in to defender Marcos Rojo going the other way."
