Southampton have completed the signing of Steaua Bucharest defender Florin Gardos on a four-year deal.Gardos, 25, arrives for an undisclosed fee, reported to be around £6m, and becomes Southampton's second signing of the day following the arrival of Hull City striker Shane Long.

Manchester City midfielder Javi Garcia has joined Zenit St Petersburg on a five-year contract for a fee of £13m. Meanwhile Sergio Aguero has signed a new five-year deal.
West Ham have completed the signing of Metz striker Diafra Sakho on a four-year deal.
Nottingham Forest have signed German midfielder Robert Tesche on a one-year contract following his release by Bundesliga side Hamburg this summer.

Anders Lindegaard is considering a move away from Manchester United, according to the goalkeeper's agent.
Sevilla have agreed a deal to take Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu on a season-long loan, subject to a medical.
Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is in talks with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, his agent has confirmed.

Have we had a HIJACKING yet?

Sky Sports understands Burnley are set to land Wolves defender Stephen Ward after hijacking Brighton's move for the player. Ward had a medical at Brighton on Thursday, but now Burnley are set to offer the Republic of Ireland international a switch to the Premier League.
