2014 NFL Offseason Thread

I'm seeing a lot of talk about Bridgewater sliding into the second round. I fully expect Josh McCown to revert to being Josh McCown if named the starter of the Bucs.

I saw Kiper's Mock Draft on the Bottomline all day and he has Bridgewater slipping to Houston at #33 (first pick in the 2nd round). Seriously, the hell is up with Kiper? How is Bridgewater the 33rd pick in the draft, but that "Bust-In-The-Wind" Manziel a 4th pick to Cleveland?

It's not just him, scouts didn't like his pro day and question whether or not he can be an NFL level QB. If there's enough negative chatter about a player, people will drop him down their draft boards, especially someone like Kiper, whose job it is to accurately predict draft results.

The problem with most major NFL mock drafts is that they don't take into account trading. Bridgewater won't drop that far because somebody at the top of the 2nd will trade back into the first to make sure they get him.

I know Derek Carr and Tom Savage declined invites too so that would have been at least 32 players attending.

A trip to London and three games in 10 days, two of which are road games. Rough stuff for the Cowboys, I'm thinking sub 8-8 for sure.

A "source" says the Lions may try to trade Suh before the draft. They would probably be looking for a top ten pick, but I'm not sure if I would do it.

Cowboys should put together a package for him, screw gambling on any of the D-lineman that will be around when we're up.

Not liking away to the Bears, followe by away to the Packers to finish the season. :-/

Loving the Thanksgiving line-up though:

Lions v Bears

Cowboys v Eagles

49ers v Seahawks!
