Apparently Sherwood has told Holtby he can leave but only on a permanent basis. Hope it's not true, shows such passion for the club and clearly has talent, started to look very good under AVB. Guess he doesn't fit into Sherwood's 4 4 2. Feel this could be a huge mistake.

I'd love Holtby. Prefer him over Hoolahan.

Lambert is pissing me off royally right now. He has openly said Hoolahan is a fantastic player etc and he had him at Livingston and Norwich but in 2009 he tried to sell him as he thought he was not good enough for the Norwich squad.

Is that the level we are at now? Taking on players not considered good enough for Norwich? We are going down.

Confirmed true; He's been seen drinking 8 pints of Newkie Brown sans shirt, whistling at slags wearing a belt as a skirt.

Why would he be wearing a belt as a skirt?

The Guardian dispels the fears of the EWB Tottenham faithful and unofficial Erik Lamela fanclub.

"He won't be leaving on loan in this transfer window. He has a big future here, absolutely," the Tottenham manager said of the Argentina international. "We know what a talented player Erik is. We also understand that players need time to settle. He needs time to acclimatise to this country. He doesn't speak English and he isn't used to the pace of the games, especially over the Christmas period when they come thick and fast.

"He is not 100% fit either. He's still feeling fatigued in one of his thighs so we were very cautious with him. We are going to take it nice and steady with him. I really want to put him on the stage when he's ready to perform, rather than let people judge him when he's half-cocked."

Reports from Belgium are suggesting that the fee for Kevin de Bruyne's move to Wolfsburg has been agreed, with the specific figure of €21m (plus up to €3m based on national team incentives) being quoted.

If true, it means that after Chelsea originally bought him for €8m two years ago, plus reportedly received nearly €500k for his season-long loan to Werder Bremen, that equals a profit of between €13.5m and €16.5m on a player who only made 6 appearances for us. Not bad.

Reports from Belgium are suggesting that the fee for Kevin de Bruyne's move to Wolfsburg has been agreed, with the specific figure of £17.5m (plus up to £2.5m based on national team incentives) being quoted.

If true, it means that after Chelsea originally bought him for £6.7m two years ago, plus reportedly received nearly £400k for his season-long loan to Werder Bremen, that equals a profit of between £11.2m and £13.7m on a player who only made 6 appearances for us. Not bad.

Profit figures edited after I forgot that the £400k was a positive not a negative. :shifty:
