Should have done more to stop Diego Costa from switching to Spain. Sure they could have done something to get him to not opt for Spain instead.

The worst thing is that Diego Costa was willing to play for Brazil. He clearly wanted to. But Felipão came and said ''Hey, Fred is better than you, fuck your 30+ goals in a single season''. Do you seriously want someone to play for a manager that says something like that after the season you've had?

And Adriano, lol

EDIT: Agree with TCO, Brazil could play with a false nine and it would do much more good than harm. But Felipão is so conservative that the idea of a ''False Nine'' never crossed his mind, ever.

Cesar

Alves T. Silva Dante Marcelo

Fernandinho

Paulinho Oscar

Willian Bernard

Neymar

As a successful football manager in the game Football Manager, I would play THIS. I HAVE SPOKEN.

But yeah, no, I probably wouldn't want to play for Brazil under Scolari either. What a mug.

Forgot Luiz Gustavo, I'd probably have him in over Paulinho. Am I right in thinking Scolari has been basically set in his ways about this Brazil team and that it's basically been the same for like the last year? Suppose it makes sense cause I can't think why else players like Miranda or Filipe Luis wouldn't be in otherwise.

Neto is the Fiorentina guy right? Was good at the Olympics.

I think so, but maybe you're talking about Rafael from Napoli there.

Yes. He has this concept of ''family Scolari'' which means he will stick by players he had any level of success with forever. Filipe Luis wasn't called up because he never played for Felipão, wasn't in his trust circle. Same goes for Miranda.

Clarke Carlisle really does spout a humungous load of bollocks. "Vlaar has benefit from having a defender playing either side of him"...isn't that basically every single tactical formation there is?

No. He means a centre back either side. Vlaar usually plays alongside Ciaran Clark, which is like playing on your own.

Two handball shouts and definite impact against Oscar in the holland box, yet Robben gets a pen the first time he steps foot in the box. Bleugh.

Figures that the only time someone is carded for diving in this cup, it wasn't a dive at all.

This ref, man.

Nah, I went to see Brazil vs Egypt and Neto played. Mind you, Hulk, Oscar, Neymar, Thiago Silva and Marcelo played too and Egypt were probably the better team :P

Thought Oscar jumped into Blind, injuring him.
