Admin Lineker Posted January 3, 2014 Admin Report Share Posted January 3, 2014 Nice of us to remember how to play some semblance of cricket.
Chris2K
Holy crap they dropped Root, not Carberry. Aussies have kept the same XI for the whole series, meaning that Ryan Harris has completed a whole series without getting injured. I see what you did there trying to jinx him. It's ok, the jinx took out one of our fast bowlers instead. After what's happened to Borthwick and Rankin in this test I think Ballance just needs to score 10 to be considered the most successful debutant. Hornswoggle4PM
The Big Bash has surprised me in how good it's been, I'm not really a fan of the T20 format but as Plubby said, the more we get to see people like Doggy, Murali, and Huss the better as far as I'm concerned. England really had a chance to get on top today, can't quite remember the score but I do know that there were a few people doubting that Australia would make even 200 for a moment there. Hopefully this will mean a better contest if nothing else.
Chris2K
The last two times England debuted three players in the same Test included Alistair Cook, the time before that included Michael Vaughan. No pressure Gary Ballance.

Chris2K
Yes. Yes it is. But on the plus side, Mitch Johnson has done this for Wear It Pink Day tomorrow:

Does anyone know what brought that on? It was probably brought on by Stan Collymore being an absolute knob.
brenchill
He basically tried to rubbish Australia's win over England because there isn't much competetion in cricket. Someone replied saying England were shite at football and that was his response.
Plubby
Matt Prior and Stuart Broad have helped to stop a young englishman committing suicide in Sydney over the last 24 hours, good on them. ....No word yet if the man was Alastair Cook.

Chris2K
England won a game today. More importantly the Sydney Thunder did! After 753 days (2 years and a month) and 19 games without a win they beat the Melbourne Renegades today by 9 wickets.
METALMAN
Alastair Cook was awful once again. I'm losing a bit of confidence in him. He's not been good enough with the bat for some time and I'm not convinced he's a great option as captain either. Bring back Strauss. >_>
Hornswoggle4PM
Only the Renegades could do that, unfortunately there's such a huge difference between their best and worst and with Finchy on national duty, the team's got next to no chance to make the finals now. Noah
I've not being paying attention to the Big Bash, the only thing that really caught my interest was the losing streak, now that's over, what's left?
