Not really comfortable is it.

If 3 or 4 teams pick up 6pts over the next 4 games, they'll be right back down there.

On the basis that you need 40pts to survive, that's 1.05 pts per game, Villa have 1.13. The only reason they are as high as they are is because 8 clubs aren't hitting that 1.05 ppg target. They've gone forward by remaining in place whilst a lot of other teams have gone backwards.
