I love the Moyes Manchester Utd Revolution

Sack all the experienced, world-class coaches and replace them with mid-table standard coaches! Wooho!

World class coaches? Not sure where you got that from.

Daniele De Rossi on rejecting a move to Manchester United last summer:

"It was a good thing I didn't go to Manchester, now I would have committed suicide."

Yeah, he never even said that

Not sure where I got it from? They were coaches at Man Utd, one of the biggest clubs on the planet under arguably the greatest manager of all time. Pretty sure they were at least half decent and better than Everton's coaches.

Well it's not like Mike Riley was ever going to stretch his 'investigation' beyond the following 5 second exchange:

MR: "For legal reasons I have to ask: did you say anything insulting?"

MC: "No."

MR: "Good enough for me."

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been charged over post-match comments he made following his side's defeat at Manchester City on 26 December. Rodgers criticised the "horrendous" performance of the match officials and questioned the appointment of Bolton referee Lee Mason after the 2-1 loss. Rodgers has until 1800 GMT on 8 January 2014 to respond to the charge.
The Football Association said: "It is alleged the comments by Rodgers called into question the integrity of the match referee, and/or implied that the match referee was motivated by bias; and/or brought the game into disrepute; and/or amounted to a failure to act in the best interests of the game."
