Adam
Nice idiocy from Manish Bhasin there - Andy Robinson took his shirt off when he scored for Tranmere today, with the shirt saying "Justice for the 96 YNWA". Manish turned to Leroy, looking confused saying "why did he get booked!?" As Leroy rightly pointed out, you get booked for taking your shirt off. End of story. His argument that "there should be consistency, since Billy Sharp wasn't booked last season for showing a message for his son" falls down too because Sharp didn't take his shirt off there, he merely lifted it up. Anyway, daft comment Manish.
EddieG
Suso got booked in Liverpool - Chelsea u21s yesterday for lifting his shirt off too.
Starvinho
Konchesky has just scored an absolute cracker! Wolves still lead, 2-1 now though. Edited September 16, 2012 by Starvinho
Starvinho
Tom Ince continues to impress at Blackpool, why did Liverpool let him go again?
Colly
Because Liverpool.
Matt
Tom Ince continues to impress at Blackpool, why did Liverpool let him go again? Stewart Downing was a better option, apparently.
Matt
Fuck me, some people are dumb. Apparently we lost tonight because people took banners in the ground and were chanting Bates Out. This is despite quite a number of players and ex-players stating they don't like Bates.
Thrilla
Nuno Gomes continues to be awesome. Rhodes as well. I agree with the comments on Ince, I'd be surprised if someone doesn't come in for him in January.
Starvinho
Rhodes is awesome, he's just one of those players who scores even when he has a shit game. He'll fire Blackburn back the PL this season, well that's my prediction anyways.
Thrilla
Our squad is good enough to be in a top six position at the end of the season, regardless of the management's ineptness. I'm not sure if we'll be good enough for a top two position though and the playoffs often become a crap shoot.
9 to 5
Our defense will make us compete in the play-off's instead of going for the title.
Adam
How are you guys feeling on Steve Kean at the minute? If he gets you back up will he still be disliked or will it turn around his popularity?
9 to 5
Personally, it will be sort of starting from square one if we go up with Kean because I don't actually have much of a problem with his incoming signings he has made overall, it's just everything else about him. But Steve Kean could cure cancer, put man on Mars and make Badder smile and alot of Rovers fans will still slate him.
Thrilla
He's shockingly poor tactically and has no real idea how to change a game when things aren't working. He's probably much better off as a scout or an assistant manager than the top guy. I think a lot of the bad feelings have thawed toward both Kean and the Venkys but victories will always have that effect, they're still a negative influence hanging over the club in my view, particularly Andersen. Crybaby Bunting
Well at least until they get promoted and get destroyed in pretty much every Premier League game all over again They need a takeover more than anything (so that Kean can be paid off and then booted out of Blackburn forever) but it's unlikely that they'll sell now (that they're winning) and unlikely that they'll sell at the end of the season as they'll probably believe that they could carry their momentum through the Premier League. If Venkys were going to sell the club soon after the purchase then they'd have done it before the club was relegated, but their way of conducting business makes it look like they're here for the next ten years or so. Colly
Blackburn cheating by sticking a sprinkler on as Boro attack. It's novel, I'll give them that.

Admin Lineker Posted September 22, 2012 Author Admin Report Share Posted September 22, 2012 Birmingham were woeful. Mark Robins is the new Coventry manager; while AFC Wimbledon have sacked Terry Brown and Wycombe have sacked Gary Waddock.
