A couple of weeks ago I'd be pretty worried at this point, but your defence are all over the place and we've got goals all over the pitch with an hour to play. I'm backing Suarez to bag a couple at least.

Failed to close him down was the problem. Villa are doing what Newcastle did to us basically, sit deep, let us have it and catch us on the break.

It has been noticeable that we do start tiring teams out with our passing so hopefully that will come into play as the game goes on.

Sterling should be taken off. He's of no use today, not getting a single cross in.

one thing i love about Suarez is his close control. fantastic with the ball in tight areas.

Class so far, though Sunderland haven't exactly been very good in fairness.

Fantastic goal from Cleverley, lovely build up with a precise finish. Should be leading by more though, but happy with that. More in the second half please.
