Do we have to pick a team of eleven goalkeepers btw? I'm sticking David James up front.

Unfortunately, despite owning a Schmeichel VHS of some kind when I was young, I never got to watch the guy play live . Seen replays and that but it doesn't give me the full picture, so I don't feel like I can vote for him. As people here might know, I didn't start watching every week until last year, so I can't really pick someone I haven't seen consistently.

So it probably has to be Petr Cech for me. Joe Hart is excellent but I've only really seen him play for the last year, whereas I at least caught Chelsea games for the past few years and he's very good every game. He also gets to wear a hat - playa. He's also who I used to buy on Fifa Career Modes after Kahn went and before Lloris was about (Casillas is too obvious a choice >_>).

I know I'm the only one who'll say that but seriously, fuck, he was awesome. Leeds would have never gone down if Venables hadn't got rid of him and replaced him with Robinson (who is a good keeper but was too green at the time). Otherwise, gotta be Schmeichel.

Nigel Martyn was fantastic, he enjoyed a terrific renaissance at Everton too, always top quality.
