In all fairness, Bloodstock have a habit of just placing any non-headliner in any position on their poster. They usually announce the official slots a lot closer to the time.

Currently, both are listed on the Friday.

Testament have been announced as a UK exclusive for 2012. They are sub-headlining the Saturday (Dimmu are now subbing Alice Cooper on the Sunday).

Lock Up and Chthonic added to main stage.

Alcest, Eastern Front, Headcharger, Ancient Ascension, Wintrefylleth, and Demonic Resurrection added to second stage.

Alcest have been confirmed as second stage headliner for Friday.

Dio Disciples have been added to the main stage, sub-headlining Friday.

Pythia, Crimes of Passion and Primitai have been added to the 2nd stage.

The Satuday main stage healdiner will be announced at 6pm on June 6th.

YES! I'm not the only one on here that is going Already got my ticket. My best band on the lineup so far is probably Alcest, Behemoth or Mayhem. Want to see Dimmu and Eastern Front too!

Immortal last year was absolutely incredible!

For those that missed it - Machine Head have been announced as the Saturday headliner. Excellent.

I'm kinda tempted. I've not been to a festival in years, and there are some good bands playing. However, would be on my own.

Well, Bloodstock was epic as usual.

Band of the weekend for me was Alcest - what an amazingly chilled out bunch. Alice Cooper, Evile, Testament, Shattered Skies, Blynd, Freedom Call, Krepuskul, Dio Disciples, Splintered Soul, Chthonic, Father, Orange Goblin, Viking Skull, Dimmu Borgir and Re-Armed were all great.

Did anyone else end up going?

Also, the festival announced Anthrax as sub-headliner for next year.
