Ah sweets, not a bad idea. I was thinking of getting some Euro 2012 related gift and then something else, maybe sweets, maybe a football book. I'll have a look see though - cheers.

I can't even remember our bloody squad anymore, Milner's in it right? I could see him playing a 'holding/central' two of Milner and Parker with Gerrard slightly ahead and then two wingers in a 4-2-3-1 sort of formation I suppose. It's obviously not ideal and Carrick must be kicking himself in hindsight.

That's probably what I'd be playing anyway. Well since Gerrard is captain and there's no other choice. Shame it was Lampard and not Gerrard that got injured but like Jouzy said, at least they won't play together now as I suspect they would have.

Can't see Johnson getting the call up ahead of Henderson though, as nice as it'd be to have Johnson in the squad we've already got Downing, Ox, Walcott, Young and Milner for the wings.

Just give Scholes a call. If Lampard does go, I would feel a lot better if we could get either Carrick or Scholes. I hate Carrick's attitude, but I'd take him over Henderson any day of the week. Oh well, I doubt he'd get much game time regardless as they'd probably play Jones CM before Henderson.

Would've preferred Lampard to play and not Gerrard but yeah, at least they're not going to play together. I can't believe our Euros squad now includes the likes of Butland, Downing and Henderson.
