I don't think anyone responded earlier, so I'll ask again... If Netherlands beat Portugal by 2 clear goals and Germany beat Denmark, will Netherlands go through?

Denmark's GD is 0, Holland are now on -3. They need to score 4 as it stands due to the head to head (I believe).

It'd go to goal difference in the games between them, though, wouldn't it? They'd each have taken 3 points from the 2 games but Portugal and Denmark only won by one goal, so if Netherlands beat Portugal 2-0, they're through.

No, just standard goal difference including the Germans unless they are tied.

Even so, if this finishes as it is, and Netherlands beat Portugal by two, they finish above Portugal, but I'm not sure how Denmark would finish if they only lost by 1 to the Germans because they should be higher than Netherlands but lower than Portugal.

This is literally the most confusing way of ranking teams ever.

Portugal would then have a goal difference of -2 so they would be last anyway. It's impossible for the three to tie exactly on goal difference because the Dutch have such a deficit, they would have to take a massive chunk out of Portugal to get back on equal footing.

Great turn for the first goal and a fantastic shot for the second. Second was preventable though because that past was obvious before it even got to Schweinsteiger. Holland look pretty bad and their defence (like this) will get torn apart by Ronaldo and co.
