You'd have to fancy Spain to beat this Croatia side, Italy should of done today really but didn't take their chances and ended up getting sloppy in the second half. Can see Spain putting a few past Croatia, meaning Italy will just need a victory against Ireland.

If they play a striker in the next two games then yeah.

Not sure I agree with your police work there Johnny. Croatia really came out of the blocks today and operated well in the second half as a team and were well organised. I don't fancy them against Spain, but Croatia deserved to win this match in my mind, not Italy.

Edit: Those two offside calls were VERY dubious against Italy though, so another assistant and it could have been 2/3-1.

Breaking news! Spain start a striker that isn't David Villa.

I'd probably be starting Mata because he plays very well with Torres, but hope he has a really great game anyway. He created chances very quickly against Italy as soon as he came on, so could be a THRASHING here tonight.
