Is there a reason they don't show the scores in the boxing as the rounds are going?

Jake explained that just beforehand cos he'd had this question loads on Twitter - it's so the judging remains totally fair and impartial apparently.

Armstrong won the Gold for USA in the Women's TT then, fingers crossed Froome and/or Wiggins bring home medals now but I'm not going to get carried away considering what happened on Saturday. Especially as we've only just come off of the Tour de France. It does help that our two biggest rivals won't be at 100% though.

Wow, Luis Leon Sanchez who was a definite medal hope set off from the podium at the start of the time trial and his chain snapped after about a half a metre. That might just have ruined his hopes altogether.

Wiggo and Froome both look like they're in for the medals. Cancellara is down on Froome, Wiggins is already well clear of Martin in second.

No real surprise that Cancellara has dropped to 4th at this stage, that crash was nasty as hell on saturday and he must still be feeling the effects of it.

If Froome can catch Martin's time and Wiggins retains his position we really could have Gold and Silver here, what a great achievement that would be.

As long as Wiggins keeps riding consistently I can't see him being caught here. Fabian Cancellara is nowhere as well, which is great news for GB.
