Chris2K Posted September 7 Report Share Posted September 7 It's awkward, because it's fairly obvious that Freddie is getting these coaching opportunities because his best mate Rob Key is in charge at the ECB, and that kind of favouritism is incredibly frustrating in cricket, because it happens throughout the game (and people like me get overlooked and eventually give up on their dream job because of it). That said, he has been through so much, and his BBC series with the kids has shown just how good a leader and mentor he is, so him being in charge of England's development players can only be a good thing.
