Mad Jack
Nice to see the ECB throwing Cook under the bus after he's taken a year of stick for them. Hopefully this doesn't lead to a return of KP to the one day side.
Plubby
^ This is a dumb thing that has been said.
Chris2K
Well done to Australia on winning their series against India, some of the Indian's attitudes (particularly Virat Kohli) have been beyond ridiculous. The man who gets himself involved in more needless arguments on a cricket field than anyone else doesn't respect people who sledge. MS Dhoni has also retired from test cricket which is a major surprise to me. I thought he'd mentally retired from test cricket about five years ago when he realised he couldn't care less and started treating every game like a T20. Plubby
Fucking cheater. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S8Op2kSkbk He had another of these in the Boxing Day Test.
Matt
AB de Villiers just scored a century off 31 balls against the West Indies to set the fastest ever century in an ODI. South Africa currently 387for1 with 3 and a half overs left, all3batsmen scored centuries
Carlos Carvalhal
Finished up as 439/2. State of Dwayne Smith's bowling, going for 68 off four overs. Edited January 18, 2015 by OrlandoTrustfull
Matt
4 shy of the ODI record for highest total, ABDV was just short of smashing the quickest 150 record by 30+ balls and tied for most 6s in an innings.
Chris2K
Just watched the highlights and it was insane. It's not even one of those innings that get looked at and say "yeah, but it was a small ground" (Anderson's 100 and Sharma's 200 for example), this was just batting of the most destructive and highest class. He reverse swept an 85mph ball for four through point. He hit three sixes behind square off fast bowlers on one knee.
Plubby
He had such disdain for the bowlers, it was unreal.
Plubby
England's Mitchell Johnson phobia is spreading to other bowlers named Mitchell as all nine legitimate wickets fall to players named Mitchell.
Chris2K
Stupid umpires denying Taylor a well deserved century. Stupid players denying England a possible victory. The war between Jimmy Anderson and Geoffrey Boycott is taking my attention away from how unbeatable Australia look, meanwhile India won their first competitive game in Australia after arriving in November by beating Pakistan. Chris2K
Oh God no. For which I blame the players. Meanwhile in New Zealand the West Indians are following the expected script by stuttering and stumbling against Ireland.

Slogger
The fact that Ireland won and the fact that I called Ireland winning only to be told I was out of my mind is currently making me so smug I may in fact break the Clarkson Smug Scale. Chris2K
I love Ireland's kit, I have this fascination with fluorescent green. Also Lendl Simmons made a hundred against the side being coached by his uncle Phil.

Sandars
Bangladesh will get lucky tomorrow thanks to heavy rain in Brisbane. Somewhere between 30 and 100mm are expected, to go with the 73mm they've had today. It's not good for Australia, who won't get to play again until next Saturday against the Kiwis in Auckland. In regards to England, they play Scotland on Monday in Christchurch, is there a chance the Scottish might pull off an upset?
