That was right out of the 'Gazz fouling and getting away with it' playbook.

Very true. :P

And I wish we, on this board, would get over the commentators favouring English sides. English channel, primarily English viewer-ship, English/British commentators.

Cant really complain about the commentary too much, at least they haven't gone into their usual Barcelona wankfest yet, which has seriously shocked me as they'll usually find any way to bring them up even if it was in a game between Swindon and Oxford.

What a game though, bloody cracker. Don't mind who wins it. I like Napoli and especially Cavani. I also love Torres and quite like Roberto too. Either a winner from Torres or penalties please

At least you never have to watch an English game on English TV as an outsider. It's the most hilariously biased thing I've ever seen. THe Germany game in the 2010 World Cup was genuinely one of the funniest things I've ever watched on TV

Couldn't agree more.

From what I've gathered from other countries and other sports, most commentators tend to be even more biased, or nationalistic. Isn't really an issue.

It's a good finish, a good goal. But now one for Napoli will win it for the Italians. Tense fifteen minutes coming up.

And accept the lack of impartiality all you want, shouting "YES! GET IN!!" when Chelsea score is just unprofessional. Pandev is on, could make all the difference if he can get straight into the game.

It isn't unprofessional. They're British commentators on a British channel. Italian channels will go crazy if Napoli score. And fairly so.
