I love that Philly shipped out Carter and Richards, and now they both have won the Cup while Philly is stuck with a crazy goalie. A full season of Carter and Richards with Kopitar, Brown and Doughty should be fun.

I'm gonna go against the crowd for half of it, and say Devils in 7, Kings in 5, and then Kings in 6 for the cup.

Ooh, so close to being perfect thus far.

I'd be happy with either team winning at this point.

Damn you devils, had to win it in 6 in the conference finals. Other than that, bingo!

Congrats Kings on your cup win and to the Devils for making it to where they did. That's gotta be the last matchup in the finals that I woulda picked to begin it all, but just goes to show how unpredictable hockey can be.

Glad to see the Kings win it, they definitely deserved it. Gotta give credit to the Devils too, never expected them making it this far.

If the Kings keep this up, they are gonna be scary for years to come...most of their core is locked up long term.

Also, this is likely going to drive up Penner's price on the FA market (I just have a feeling that Burke wants him). Also...yay! Draft in 9 days! ^_^

I thought he meant 'since the playoffs ended'. I guess 'in NHL history' is also a way to read that question, in which case he might be shocked to learn how little Hartford got for Ron Francis.

I'm pretty excited about the upcoming draft. I think the Leafs are set to get a great player with the 5th pick. I bet Burke would love to move up, but he always wants to. I don't see Edmonton or Columbus wanting to lose their picks.

As am I. It should be awesome! With our pick we can get one of: Yakupov, Forsburg, Grigs, Gally, or Murray. I would prefer one of the two centers (although, Forsburg can play it too, I believe), but can't complain. I also think Burke is going to try and get a late 1st as well, not sure what he'd give up, though.
