It was a corker that one, I'm not sure how he didn't get booked.

Good first half overall, we've looked very good in periods but a bit dodgy in others. Ajax are looking dangerous so we'll have to keep it tight and get another goal I think.

They've done most of the leg work and pressing in this match and then on the break, a cross comes in Maarten Martens hits a volley and it deflects in. 1-0 in the match, 2-0 on aggregate and with an away goal Anderlecht need 3 to advance. Looks like it's game over for the Belgians. Shame because Matias Suarez is probably the best player on the pitch by some distance and nearly scored a phenomenal goal early in the match. For the most part it's been rather drab though, a lot of running and not a great deal of class from either side.

Oh and Jozy Altidore is at AZ Alkmaar. I had no idea. He and Freddy Adu really seem intent on a little globetrotting expedition don't they?
