The Budweiser FA Cup

Recommended Posts

Not been a day for the irregulars to prove themselves here.

I'm gad Reina will be fit for the league.

Don't really mind going out of the cup the way this weekend has been.

Maybe next year will be your year.

For what? To play Oldham again in the rubber match?

Its 7-4 on aggregate so technically we won over two legs :shifty:

A tweet that sums up Robinson and Coates:

@JimBoardman Coates and Robinson both showed today how important it is for younger players to go out on loan if they aren't going to get many games.

It showed that they are not used to competitive football. Really did.

It didn't help that the manager picked an inexperienced defence that had never played together before, in front of a shit keeper with no protection in front of them (Allen looks more and more like a kid plucked from the u15's and Henderson's never convinced for us defensively). Massive cock-up from Rodgers today, thought he could just chuck that front four out there and they'd get it won.

I'd also agree with that. Might have been better to go with Carragher over Coates.

Or play both Gerrard and Carragher from the start, take Gerrard off after an hour if needed. The line up was incredibly weak outside of the attack.
