Admin Lineker Posted November 14, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted November 14, 2012 Apparently, a fair few AFC Wimbledon fans have said they will boycott the game at Stadium MK in protest at the existence of the team.
stokeriño
Bit of a pointless protest - no one will notice. Tempted to go to it myself actually...but it's a lunchtime kick-off and will therefore clash directly with the West Ham v Chelsea 12:45 KO on Sky. :/
Admin Lineker Posted November 14, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted November 14, 2012 Surely ITV will pick this up?
Starvinho
ITV has chosen MK Dons v AFC Wimbledon as their live FA Cup with Budweiser Second Round tie next month. It will be the first time that the two clubs have ever faced each other in any competition since MK Dons were formed in 2004. The game will take place at stadium:mk on Sunday 2 December at 12.30pm and will be broadcast on ITV1. MK Dons booked their place in the Second Round with a convincing 6-1 win over Cambridge City on Tuesday evening having been held 0-0 in the first game. AFC Wimbledon saw off York City 4-3 after extra time on Monday to seal their passage. Both clubs will receive £67,925 from The FA’s Live Broadcast Fee while the winners are guaranteed £27,000 from The FA Cup Prize Fund.
