I still can't believe people are that adamant Arsenal won't finish in the top 4, there's 30 games to play, 90 points to play for and we're only 5 behind 4th place at the moment. Mind you, used to be being written off, but the amount of people saying that there is no chance we will get in the top 4 is just mad.

Oh and summer of 2013.

No idea where those 5 minutes came from. Thank fuck that's over. 3 very welcome points there.

We're in the top half! :w00t:

Well, the way I see it, Liverpool and Tottenham will be the two teams battling it out for fourth, both of which have beaten Arsenal. I just watched them for ninty minute, and granted they're without Wilshere, but they don't look like a top 4 team. Van Persie is Arsenal's only real saving grace at the minute and they'll have to vastly imporove if they want to better than Tottenham or Liverpool.

Both Liverpool and Tottenham have shown the same amazing ability to shit the bed as we have the last couple of years. They'll drop stupid points through the season, and we get to play them both again.

Andre Santos, I like this kid, a lot.

Honestly, I think that the shit start might end up serving the squad well. Everyone is focusing on the "rebirth" at Liverpool, the Manchester race, who's the new 4th place team ? .... Takes the focus off and allows us to calm down, regroup, and just play football.

Several foreign-owned Premier League clubs want to scrap relegation, according to League Managers Association chief Richard Bevan.

If more clubs are sold to foreigner investors, they may have enough votes to force through the change.

But Bevan hopes that a government-led inquiry can help prevent the proposal.

"We're very keen that the report is successful in helping the Football Association introduce a licensing programme for clubs," he said.

"Because there are a number of overseas-owned clubs already talking about bringing about the avoidance of promotion and relegation in the Premier League.

"If we have four or five more new owners, that could happen."

More to follow.

Off BBC. God, this sounds retarded.

Yeah I just read this as well. I suppose I could make a reasoned argument as to why I don't want it to happen but I think I'll just opt for "Oh do fuck off."

And if it was to happen I'd rather we were relegated and out of it and playing against the likes of Barnsley, Scunthorpe and the like. The last thing I want is for the game to become even more commercialised.

And that's from someone whose team would probably benefit from something like this.
