Some "stats" someone posted by someone else at a Villa forum I use..

18 - goals scored at home

4 - league wins at home

1891 - the last time we won fewer matches at home

Wolves - the 'list' of teams to win fewer games that us this season

Stoke - the "list" of teams with fewer shots on goal than us this season

Stoke, Swansea - the "list" of teams with fewer shots on target than us this season

Stoke - the "list" of teams with fewer successful passes than us this season.

Blackburn, Stoke - the "list" of teams with overall possession stats this season lower than Villa.

17 - the number of months since we scored from a corner in the league

1 - our longest win sequence in the league.

Lower gates than David O'Leary's final season.

McLeish is useless and on current form we're going down.

Clearly you need O'Leary back!!

Also, thank you for reminding me of Fashwash Roy. Amazing.

But O'Leary was just as bad.

Clearly we need John Gregory back.

Just done a bit of research. Maybe not...

On 13 June 2011, Gregory was appointed the manager of Kazakh club FC Kairat from Almaty, Kazakhstan.[6] Kairat were relegated at the end of the 2011 season to the second tier of Kazakhstan football.

He got accused of being homosexual as well I believe and pretty much chased out of a club - may have been FC Kairat but I'm not sure.

Niall Quinn said his nominations tended to be swayed by what he'd read in the paper on that particular day, and given he's intelligent (certainly by football standards) I wouldn't place much faith in everyone else.

I haven't seen any of the games so watching MOTD now, all I can say is that Fellaini had a stormer from the looks of things.
