Rafael seems to be back to full fitness, so it's slightly baffling why we're playing Valencia in that RB slot instead.

Happy to see Berbatov start again, deserves it.

Valencia probably plays because he's in-form at the moment, his crossing ability has been top notch the last couple of months. Hopefully he doesn't get caught out at the back with his lack of experience though.

Good to see Berba keeping his place, he's earned it over the past few games. Would love to see him score a few tonight. As long as Ba fires in a couple too and United drop points.

Valencia is better defensively than Rafael, no doubt. Not that it's hard, Rafael's strength has always been driving forward, but I feel a lot more confident in Valencia doing the job, as the twins are a bit careless at times - and the way Valencia's playing going forward, it makes sense.

We need to win tonight. Being level going into the break and FA Cup game with City could be huge.

Valencia has struggled a few times at RB though and actually made quite a few mistakes. Not just that, but he loses the effect he has when he's played in his proper role on the right of the midfield, where he's at his absolute best and most effective, just how it effected Carrick last week when he had to play in defence. Rafael is seemingly at full fitness and actually adds a hell of a lot when in that RB slot, certainly going forward, so it's a little weird. Fitness is likely the culprit as to the decision.
