Clichy was stupid today. That first yellow was needless. He knew that Sturridge would drop if he touched him. Second yellow was the same. Mancini was right though, it wasn't the sending off that turned the game, it was the stonewall penalty that wasn't given.

I really don't like referees nowadays... the only good ones seem to be in the lower leagues.

Yeah no complaints about the Clichy red or the Lescott handball but how the ref doesn't give Silva the penalty, especially when he doesn't book him for diving, is mind-boggling. It took 10 men and a late penalty for City to lose so I'm not too worried.

I dunno. Last few Championship/League One games I've seen on TV have been refereed brilliantly. Might just be in those games, but still. Anyone over Clattenburg though.
