Wow....what a finish. I feel horrible for J.R Hildebrand. 23 year old rookie crashes on the final turn and loses out to Wheldon by under a second I think. Wow.

I'm still in shock, I cannot believe that that just happened.

Even after he hit the wall I thought for a second that he might make it, But that might have been just me not knowing what any cars look like other than the Target cars and Danica.

He was trying to ride behind that guy for as long as he could because he was low on fuel and wanted to conserve it. In the end his inexperience hurt him because he ended up going too wide when he finally did pull out.

I wonder why he decided to go round the guy on that last corner when there was no need to, he was clearly winning and he could've gotten past him on the straight if need be, or better yet, ride beside him and block the way for the guy behind him.

I think I heard him mention post race that he was worried Wheldon was going to catch up to him.

I don't blame him, If I were in that situation I'd probably do the same thing - 9 times out of 10 he makes that pass with no issues.
