I have only been interested in playing alpha worlds as of late. I miss the days of the simplistic feel to the game.

I don't care about the dragons, potions and all that other stuff.

Myself and a couple of others will be looking at recording some multiplayer Alpha maps and LP in the near future.

It's not that easy when you're used to being the one Kirkland referred to as "Spawning all the time" and have forgotten how to craft items and then try to craft items from versions not yet created.

I recommend to anyone to go back and play some old alpha releases. It is alot of fun. Even waaay back to InfDev is alot of fun.

So the last few weekly updates have added abunch of new stuff. Jungle biomes, a new tameable mob (the ocelot), new AI for Zombies (Pathfinding to the player instead of trying to walk through obstacles), new AI for Skeletons (Will try to find shade or wqter during the day).

Seems like since the game has left "beta", more has gotten done then before

Minecraft has demonstrated some magnificent feats of community creation, but now it's also offering a lesson in the volatile side of crowd-sourcing. Changing the language to Afrikaans, spoken in South Africa and Namibia, yesterday caused the title screen to display the phrase "You are a NIGGER." As Minecraft Forums user EgXPlayer commented, "Thats racist."

Glad he was there to point this out.

I put the game on peaceful when I'm building in my creative unless I'm testing a mob trap. I know there are mods out there to turn creeper damage off though.

Not sure really. The McDonalds took a day or 2 I know since it was first. The Taco Bell was small so I guess a day. I never finished the KFC.I've been working on the school for a couple weeks on and off. The top floor and second building of the school aren't even done yet.
