Seriously how the hell did you manage to get 9th in the SPL with Rangers?

My wife could go on a week long coaching course and still get Rangers to a top six finish.

I really want to know you can go from winning the league to ninth, with Rangers. That's almost as big a feat as winning the SPL with a team that isn't Celtic or Rangers.

I'd actually consider coming 9th with Rangers an achievement, with the quality of the SPL, I'd expect their reserves to come higher than that.

The thing that struck me most about that image is the fact that 86% of the fans didn't want him in the first team. In real life, he's been Forest's best player by a significant margin this season.

I suppose having just won the Championship without him might have swayed them a bit. He never got a look in ahead of Cohen or Majewski, who have been playing their socks off.

I honestly don't quite know how it happened, because we actually played well in the first season, pretty much walked the league, put up a brave fight in Europe, and only went out of the domestic cups because of a little mid season wobble. It was mostly a combination of crushing inconsistency and the club's financial situation forcing me to sell my better players and bringing in inadequate replacements. I suppose I was a little hasty with rotating tactics and players at times, but when you're in a situation as desperate as I was I surely can't be blamed...

Having a very annoying little problem on my Chelsea game. Having easily won the league with the old team of Lampard et al in my first season, I spent £89,000,000 acquiring a younger and better (on paper at least) team.

Unfortunately they haven't learned how to play together yet. This has led to a 6-2 defeat at Man City and a 1-0 defeat to Wolves. 4-0 wins against Man Utd and Arsenal are a slight consolation.

I have never actually managed to break the SPL Dominance, I won the UEFA Cup with Aberdeen on FM 07 but still managed to get murdered in the league by the Old Firm.

Going to give it a shot now, what would be a good team to play as?

I broke the SPL dominance as Dundee United...but that was on CM01/02, so barely counts.

I too have done it with Dundee United, after a mate of mine did.
