UFC News and Discussion Thread

There's some trouble brewing for Saturday's UFC Fight Night 52 event in Japan, as main event fighter Mark Hunt is significantly overweight less than 24 hours out from the weigh-ins.

According to a report from Kevin Iole at Yahoo! Sports, Hunt started his camp at a ridiculous 340 lbs., and has only gotten down to 284 lbs., leaving 19 lbs. left to go to the 265 lb. heavyweight limit. He's allowed an extra pound allowance, but that still means 18 lbs. left to shed.

340lbs! Hunt, you tubby bastard. :o

Mark Hunt! Since my WWE Network subscription is up, I have switched to UFC Fight Pass for a free week, just to check it out. Glad I could debut with a beautiful Hunt KO. However, what is going on with that Heavyweight top #10? Hunt, Arlovski, Rothwell has beat Overeem, Barnett? Is this UFC bizarro world?

And the post-event weight division run-down was great; especially seeing that my man Khabib Nurmagomedov is near the top in the Lightweight division. He is still the owner of the very best weigh-in shirt in UFC history.
