Cymbols
Bellator Paris will be aired on BBC iPlayer this weekend, which is a fairly big deal. First major live MMA event in France, too.
Cymbols
So Bellator was making the headlines today, and then the UFC came along with the greatest KO ever, courtesy of Joaquin Buckley. Simply unreal.

Mad Jack
Why is Cody Garbrandt calling out Henry Cejudo?

But I think there's a difference here - Cejudo is a known factor, he's almost definitely not unretiring unless whoever he's facing is bringing gold to the table.

It’s not just gold the person has to bring, though, it’s a definite big name. Cejudo not going to come back just to fight Figgy or Yan. He might come back just to try and win a third division belt, but Volks might be the hardest test of the three. What I was saying though, was that call-outs and shit has gotten beyond ridiculous in combat sports this year anyway. There’s bound to be a bunch of dumb shit that’ll make waves.

Cymbols
Lowkey thought that Calvin Kattar had a chance tonight. That school of thought did not age well. Clearly forgot just how elite Max Holloway actually is.
Kyle
Prior to the Holloway/Kattar fight, the record for most significant strikes landed in a fight was 290 (also set by Max Holloway). The new record is 445. Yikes. 2

Forky
Holloway's dominance takes away from the fact that Kattar was a beast. He took a beating and he kept on coming back and swinging. He was just so severely outmatched when it came to skill. Holloway says that he's taken a no sparring approach to his fights, which seems to have definitely helped him. I also assume it's less sparring as opposed to no sparring but even still. I would love to see another title fight for him soon but I assume he's going to need to beat a couple more people before they run that one back again.
