Just went 68 for 28. Apparently the other team was using some form of emergency air drop glitch. I used a predator missile and took out 4 of them as they tried to capture the cases. Put a harrior airstrike over it to get me and AC130. Then just went crazy as they aimlessly tried to retreieve their airdrops, but I kept blowing them up.

Ah, how fufilling.

Assault Rifle w/ Grenade Launcher + RPGx2 + Sacavenger + Danger Close. Adjust Kill/Deathstreak + Perk 3 + 'nades to taste.

I'm always running out of ammo for my beloved weapons before I get a decent killstreak. Question is, does the Scavenger perk really help out with this or is it easier just to grab whatever weapons are lying around?

My new sniper set up involves using deep impact as a perk as well as bling and fitting a silencer (deep impact helps to keep the power of the shot that the silencer removes) and a heart monitor. Then adding a shotgun as my second weapon. That way if I'm lying around with the sniper rifle the heart monitor lets me know if anyone is approaching, switch to shotgun and blam.

Re: Scavenger - depends how fast you drain ammo and how much you die. Scavenger Pro is worth it because you get extra mags for your guns, so you have more ammo to waste.

Yeah the ACOG was annoying me badly so switched back to the standard sights when I attached the heartbeat sensor.

ACOG is good on Assault Rifles but that's it. Holographic is best for SMG's i've found.

Scavenger is a great perk, I love it. Not because I go through ammo....no, because combined with claymores, it is a deadly mix.

Thermal scopes are pretty good, but useless on Hardcore since everyone has cold blooded on.

Really? I seemed to do just as well with the ACOG on my sniper rifle as I do with the normal sight.

Just got tactical nuked for the first time. Very eerie. Still at least I get a challenge completed for it and a callsign...

Also, Tactical Nuke was massively disappointing, a grey screen that's slightly fuzzy, I could get the same from fiddling with my RBY cables

Ahhh I was rocking plubby's socks for a couple of rounds, then flicked to snipering and made do with lower kills but constant lowest deaths. Classy.

I have real problems with the knives. I either am too slow to use it, or when I think 'aha, lets use a knife', I'm slightly too far away, and get knifed myself. Gay.

I find they're best used if you find a corner next to a door that hides you, they're great use if someone is chasing you and you can slide to the side to evade gunfire.
