I basically just have decided to say hell with it and pass to Steve Smith every second play.

I've also fumbled twice with Delhomme sliding after a scramble.

Unbalanced schedules suck ass too, you get 2 weak teams to beef up your Madden IQ and then you play somebody good on uber-hard settings and get splattered (the VIKINGS lit me up for 44 through the air)

My rush offense is rated in all-madden even though I average 2/3 yards a carry but always end up with one or two touchdowns thanks to always getting dropped on the 1 yard line after a pass play.

yeah the run system is way fucked up. the iq test my run is high and even after not being able to get more than 2-3 a carry it's still high so I can almost never run good. the only time I have much like is flipping the play before the snap and running the opposite direction.

I like how on the Texans-Cowboys rivalry loading screen it says they play each other every pre-season for the Governor's Cup, which is true, but then you rarely actually play them in the pre-season after the first year. Also, playing divisional teams in the pre-season is pointless as well, in my last season I played three pre-season games against teams I would play in the regular season.

Has anyone tried Superstar mode yet? I'm wondering if they keep the same way to determine your stats as '08.

I hate that, quarterback drills are nigh on impossible, and you get punished if the idiot receiver drops the ball.

Agreed with both above and it doesn't matter if you pick a tackle or a guard you can't get more than 5 fucking reps, I keep getting between 12 and 35 on my superstars overall.

My record in 08 for was 28 and I average around 20 usually, reps are easy. It's the 40 yard dash gets me usually. You can just create your own player anyway beforehand, set his years pro to 0 and 'Play as Rookie' in Superstar and he'll be there.

Just got my first good run on the game.

A 70 yard touchdown rush against the Seahawks. First play of the drive and Brandon Jacobs goes outside and thre egreat blocks set up the long run. Awesome.

I hate Brandon Jacobs, he always seems to have at least one 60+ yard run in each game against me

I've got used to the running now. Enough to put up some decent numbers, anyway. Even with the slider on full I can usually run for close to 100 yards if not more (highest so far is 164) and usually get a TD or two. Obviously it varies against the defense I'm playing, for example I demolished the Bengals (that's where the 164 yards came in) but I couldn't do anything against the Steelers. I usually get an average of 4-5 yards per rush.

Would it really be that difficult for EA to put International Series DLC in? That'd be fantastic, ok so it'd be a bit of an effort creating the stadium, but the uniforms and field would be easy. They did it with the NBA all-star game last season on Live.

They would have the base for it on Fifa, would they not? Obviously different levels of detail, but if NCAA has over 100 stadiums, no reason why Madden can't have 34 (given they still have the Pro Bowl one).
