That's what I was hoping for, too. A Max Payne adaptation has potential to be great if they made it into a neo-Hard Boiled noir with tonnes of stylized violence but with the director that's attached I'm not too optimistic. It's probably going to be just another crap action film that will be released on DVD within a month of its cinema release.
