Bobfoc
There are plenty of sales on the eShop, but the first-party games never tend to get large discounts. The console itself has held its price well over the three years since its launch. Chances are that you'll only save small amounts of money when certain online retailers offer small percentages off through voucher codes.
DavidMarrio
Nintendo are probably the worst when it comes to discounts and sales. I'm sure the likes of BOTW have only dropped in price by like £
Bobfoc
And big third-party games are almost always considerably more expensive than on other consoles. There have been so many Switch games I've been interested in, only to to look at the price and laugh.
Colly
Yeah, I've got a Wii too, needless to say if it makes more sense to buy something on PS4 I will.
Bobfoc
There will be another Partner Showcase tomorrow. In other news, Donkey Kong Country 2 will be coming to the Switch Online SNES library next week.
Bobfoc
Just about every Super Mario 3D All-Stars review contains a reference to Smash Mouth.
apsham
What is upsetting is that I didn't realize what they're probably doing and figured it had something to do with "Walking On The Sun" because of Sunshine/Galaxy.
Bobfoc
A listing for the Mass Effect trilogy for Switch has appeared on a Portuguese retail website and has since been removed, along with references to the Xbox One and PS4 versions. It's previously been speculated that it won't come to Switch, so I hope that this leak is legitimate.

Don't forget S.C.A.T (tee-hee) Also, I didn't realise until recently that DKC2 is subtitled Duddy's Kong Quest and not Diddy Kong's Quest. I feel like this is one of those Mandela effect things. apsham
I really, really hope for news on the Battle Brothers port. And perennially - Silksong.

GoGo Yubari
Hades' 1.0 release date seemingly coming today out of nowhere is very exciting news. I was waffling on whether I'd buy it for PC or Switch but Switch just feels right.
Bobfoc
I forgot about this. It starts at 10.15 BST (about 105 minutes from now). It's weird that there are two Nintendo shows in one day, even if this is a Nintendo Life presentation.
Colly
I bought a Switch. Sadly I now have to hide it in a cupboard til Christmas.

Sousa
I was spending a lot of time in the cupboard basically until the year 2017. 1
GoGo Yubari
Boy, Hades is fun. Turns out that I, a person who likes roguelikes and Greek mythology, am pretty into the Greek mythology roguelike.

I'm also tempted by the 3D Mario collection, but feel that is primarily because of it being time sensitive. I know that is pretty much what they were aiming for....yet still tempted. apsham
Hades is top shelf stuff. It's on the level of Hollow Knight for me.
