Any of you guys got Playstation Plus, and do you think it's worth it? I'm tempted by the 3 months subscription since there's quite a few good titles on there at the moment, Splinter Cell at discount too. But, I'd like to hear about other people and their experiences with the service before I do.

Oh, and what the hell happened to our bargain bins thread? That was of great help back in the day!

Eh, it's alright. I had it for 3 months but I don't think I'd get it again unless I got a year. If you find yourself quite often purchasing things from the PSN, it probably would be, but don't expect getting it will entice you into spending money on there that you wouldn't have anyway.

If it had more deals it'd definitely be worth it, but the decent ones (for me, anyway) tend to only pop up occasionally. The best was Borderlands GOTY for like, £6 and all of the FF games going down to like £3. Occasionally you'll get a demo early too, but I don't think it's often. Only one I remember caring about having early access to was the Resistance 3 multiplayer beta.

I loved it when i got the one year sub. Discounts vastly outweighed the cost many timed over.

Sony's online is barely even worth being free, let alone paying for I've always wanted to buy PS Plus, but their regular online service is so shoddy and intermitent, I could never bring myself to pay for it.

I keep waiting for them to make Plus feel more exclusive and give me a lot more options for discounted games, but until it does I don't see myself ever getting it again. I had it during the big PSN apology last year, that was it.

Plus isnt online services like xbox. Its discounts free games and early beta tests

15US$, pritty hefty for a two hour game. But everything i ever saw of this in the past... year? ...looked so amazing that i just want to play it anyway.

It´s by "that game company" who also did Flower and Flow.

I still play Flow from time to time. I find it kind of relaxing but also pretty rewarding and the deeper you go it gets more nervy.

Couldn't get online on Wipeout for the first week. First time I get connected? Bombarded with messages telling me how all my friends, including Hammy, have beaten all my times. Most demoralising day ever.
