apsham
I never really figured out stealing myself - I think there's an assist that'll flash when it's viable to help give you an idea, but it goes so fast I never actually learned or was able to handle it. If you don't like the shooting system I think you can switch to a more stat based approach - but if you're playing a MyCareer that isn't going to swing in your favour too often. Meacon Keaton
Stealing is just timing and being smart about when to try it. You can’t just spam it in an attempt to steal. A well timed slap during a dribble or a pass is how you do it. And it also helps if the guy you’re controlling is good at steals.
apsham
I was always getting fouled when I tried to steal - I guess I was out of position and the game thought I wanted to, so I just kind of let the AI handle that stuff for me.
New Damage
But that's the thing though, I figured it was a timing thing, but the game never tells you when you should be attempting the steal/when to press the button. Am I right in guessing that when you're marking someone, and they're bouncing the ball on the spot, you press the button when it's mid-air (after leaving his hand and before returning to his hand), or at the moment of impact it hits the floor or? It does seem to be luck for me so far, especially because once or two I've stolen the ball when the player has two hands on it.
Your Mom
Is Persona 5 worth $8? I'm only mildly interested in that kind of game but I always heard it's one of the best ones. I think I might have tried it before but don't remember it

If you're not particularly keen on JRPG combat, you can always move the difficulty down to the lowest setting. The socialising is the biggest draw for most people, anyway. One of the characters is a talking cat who can turn into a bus.

apsham
And you can date your teacher who also works on the side as a maid and implies that... other services are available. Persona is weird.

Hellraiser
I got that game when it came out. Played it until the point at which you are given free rein to do what you want and the game begins properly. I was overwhelmed with all the choices the game gave me coupled with the time mechanics of the game. There is only a certain amount of stuff you can do per day and certain things only happen on specific dates and I had basically no idea how to manage my time properly. I was afraid that If I just played it the way I saw fit I would miss out on a ton of stuff. I put the game down pretty quickly. Probably should give it another try at some point. Ruki
I am currently playing through Persona 5 Royal, and it is pretty much the best thing ever.

Ruki
The time limits aren't that constricting honestly. For each dungeon, you're given like 2 weeks to complete. I'm usually done them within 2-3 days and spend the rest of the time building up my social connections. If you're unsure, I would check out some gameplay and see if it's for you! Bobfoc
They're not really time limits in the normal sense. You have a certain number of activities you're allowed to complete in a day, but you're not going up against a timer.
apsham
Aye. Picture a day split up into something like: - Morning - Afternoon - Evening And during each time period you have infinite time to decide what to do. Go here with that person, go here and raise a stat, etc. and only by confirming that choice does it play out and then it moves on to the next time period. You can do stuff like shop, etc without changing time frames. Some story days will have these choices made for you. Some people get caught up in doing everything perfectly. There are guides that will tell you that it’s optimal to talk to this person on that day, but you don’t really need that to enjoy the game.
jrhodes
If you work on your friendship with the doctor you can get the SP Adhesive 3, which is an accessory that gives you 7SP every turn. It makes clearing the dungeons in one visit pretty easy.
Benji
Finally got around to playing Horizon: Zero Dawn. I'm about twenty hours in and whilst I am enjoying it, it's very... above average. The story is okay, the gameplay is okay (combat could do with being a tad slower since so much of it is about hitting weak spots, and platforming at times is god awful), and the visuals are solid, but nothing about it is this incredible experience reviews and people's opinions had lead me to believe. I wonder how much of that love is because it's a Sony exclusive and people think exclusives have to be amazing.
Hellraiser
You do have a point. I really enjoyed the game a lot, but when you break it down it is really just another Ubisoft-style open world game. Assassin's Creed in the futuristic post-apocalypse. Absolutely, I am enjoying it, and I get why people like it, AC is one of my favourite series, but it's just not as special as I'd expected. Victim of my own expectations I guess.
