Apart from starting LBP and doing the first level, I've not been on the PS3 much lately. I'll see if I can join in with Wipeout though. I'll be buggered if I know where my Mic is, I don't think I've used it since Dead Rising 2.

We need a decent PS3 clan together for MP games. The 360 fags have it too good. Should be fun when Dead Island comes out, if only for the co-op roaming. Won't matter if the game is quite sucky, but I remain optimistic. I think it supports 4 players to drop in/out to do the story/side missions.

I have both (consoles) but am leaning towards using the PS3 more recently. So I may pick up some new releases on PS3 in the future. We shall see.

I always lean towards PS3 because of trophies. We should have a discussion about trophies/achievements one day.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars is free for Euro PS+ users until August 3rd.

It is hands down the best PSN game there is, even if you aren't a big sports/football fan.

In other news after weirdly discussing how ace Mashed was on PS2 with my brother earlier this week the trailer for Wrecked appeared on PSN yesterday and looks near identical. Can't wait.

Wipeout is a weird one, because it doesn't seem like you are actually moving half the time. Also, you know when you are trailing another jet right in the line of their fire trail thing such that it sort of 'burns' your jet, does it actually do damage or is it just a cosmetic effect?

Mashed was brilliant. We used to play Micro Machines on the Mega Drive at Uni, until we busted one of the J-Cart ports. All was doom and gloom for a while til Mashed came into our lives. Loved it.
