Fuck playing Condemned 2 in a dark room at night. Fuck that.

Yeah I made that mistake and decided that I preferred to be entertained and engrossed when playing games as opposed to being terrified about turning my character around towards a noise.

It's just me being a Pussy. But it scared the shit out of me. When I turned it off I could hear noises in my room so I went and slept on the couch. >_<

Still I'm half way into MK Vs. DC which is good. I'm enjoying that and it ain't made me scared yet. Just makes me want to watch a Sonya Blade and Catwoman Porn film. Oh, Joker is the best character on the game, after Batman like and then I think it's Superman on the DC side.

I live in Germany and I just found out that games in the UK are quite cheap in comparision to here.So my question is,is my PS3 (40GB) from Germany able to read games from the UK or are there any technical difficulties?

I realised I have done little but bitch about the PS3 so far, so I will say that Wipeout HD is marvellous and I like how responsive the XMB is (not nearly as laggy as the NXE).

I don't mind trophies, but online is shit. You know what the trade-off for "free online gaming" is? Horrid connection issues. I have a decent connection, but it's only once in a blue fucking moon that I can stay connected when I'm playing something online. GTA? I get DCed a minute into the game, or in the lobby. It's shit.

The only things so far I really like about the PS3 are the XMB, Disgaea 3, and SIXAXIS is fairly neat.

Huzzah. No online problems for me outside of the Pro Evo horrors....

The cinema is pretty nice for movie trailers. Kinda pointless with youtube but fun nonetheless and it loads pretty quickly, especially considering Home is still beta.

I've never once had online problems with the PS3 either.

And really Trophies are just the same thing as Achievements on the XBOX. Fun to look at, but there isn't much point.

Yeah, in some cases like Bioshock, trophies are the direct equivalent of achievements. I think the actual trophies thing looks a bit snazzier than just having a big fuck off number, but eh. The problem I have with PSN isn't connection issues, as I've played tons of games of MGO and played LBP with a few guys here with pretty much no problem, it's just that there's a lack of real massive online games, compared to things like Halo or Gears, or for me personally as I don't have COD or whatever.

The PS3 seems like a system where you sit on the couch and play with friends while the XBOX is more of a trash talk while heading behind a TV hoping your mommy doesn't hear your bad language and give you a spanking system.

While I play COD on PS3 I have discussions with fellow gamers about literature, fine art and French movies.

On the 360 it's just sniggering about "teabagging" and calling other mothers f**king whores.

Think about it. LittleBigPlanet is ten times more fun playing on the couch with your friends compared to Gears of War 2 where its definitely better to play online so you can have a full screen to yourself.

But my previous statement shows that internet+sarcasm=fail.
