The Habs Bruins game was amazing. The atmosphere was insane, beyond there being thousands of people outside the Bell Center from about 5pm when they had a police escort for a moving truck from the Old Forum to the Bell Center presumably bringing in the Ghosts of the Old Forum, to the game where the crowd was bloodthirsty to post game where thousands were in the street outside the Bell Center singing, chanting, partying, dancing it was incredible. All in all an amazing experience.

Can we kill Plubby now? and seriously dont blame Giggy, I havent seen the game yet, But from what i've heard, If all 4 goals where from PP, Then you really cant fault the goalie, Blame the guy (and in this case guys) that was in the box in the first place.

I didn't see the game, but penalties or not, giving up 4 pp goals, sounds like the goalie had an off night. A team of that calibre should have a goalie that can give them a chance to win every night regardless of if the team shows up or not.

San Jose deserved their win last night... they played hard and that first goal on Kipper was balls.

That being said, what the fuck was up with the referees? Out of the 7 Calgary penalties in the second period, only 3 of them were worth calling. Then in the third, San Jose almost got caught with the same thing. 3 penalities to them in the third period, and even I was questioning what was going on.

Did the refs just think they let them play too much in game one, and had to make up for it by calling lots of penalties in game two? Were the refs just fucking with Keenan and Wilson? It was awful.

The Calgary penalty kill was amazing though, and Kipper stood on his head again. Nabokov kept his team in the lead, and if it weren't for him, we may well have been up 2-0 heading back to Cow-Town.

I haven't really been able to get into this years playoffs. Don't know why, I'm used to my team not being there by now. I just can't make myself sit down and watch a game. Maybe tonight with Ovie and company taking on the Flyers. Maybe then I'll be able to sit down and watch.

I'd say it was 6 out of 7. The only one I found a complete and utter joke was Ignila's. Those three penalties in a row in the second though were all clear calls but I really thought Calgary was killing them well enough to get away with it.
