So, two fantastic games tonight on TSN. The Sabres/Flyers game was way better than I expected it would be. Good physicality and lots of really nice plays. The Flames/Stars game was equally as exciting, but a lot of that can be attributed to shitty ice, which had the puck bouncing around like a tennis ball in a game of street hockey.

Flames lost, so 7 in a row didn't happen... but they came off a huge 6 game winning streak, played an extremely good team in Dallas on horrible ice, lost 3-2 in overtime, and nobody had a bad game. They lost in overtime, but it's a moral victory. Great games tonight, and I'd just like to add that I am so fucking excited for the World Juniors.

I was half-watching the Calgary/Dallas game in the bar tongiht and it looked fucking solid...who won the Buffao/Philly game?

Philly was threatening late to tie it up, and I was half-hoping they would... but that would have made me miss the start of the Flames game, so I'm glad they didn't.

They play again tomorrow night (Saturday)... in Philly this time, I think.
