I have to say, I love starting battles with a Synergist/Saboteur. Boost ourselves, de-boost enemies, and then go crazy!

Eh, it's terrible against more than one Pulsework Solider. I find that Vanille will cast Deshell on one of them, then Deshell on the other, then Deprotect on one and then Deprotect on the other. By the time she's working on the fourth ability, the first one will already be running out. Better to wipe out one of them straight away with Dualcaster/Slash & Burn and then work on that.

Also, fuck Bombs. Especially when you go up against a group of 3 of them and 1 Pulsework Soldier. God, I had to apply all of my shrouds + get pre-emptive strike to survive that battle.

So, uh, I just realised I was using Lightning as a Ravager and hadn't altered hers and Fangs weapons/accessories since when Fang arrived in my party and assumed that Fang would be the natural Ravager and Lightning the natural Commando, realised long ago that wasn't the case, I've now switched their stuff and boosted their weapons (as well as Hopes accessories so he's better protected) and bejesus this is an unholy powerful team >_>
