Sour grapes. Nani was accidently clipped by Collins after he'd made him look like a schoolboy, and a penalty was given because of it. He didn't deliberately foul him, but I can see why a penalty was given ...he'd gotten in behind, and Collins failed to win the ball.

There's no reason for a penalty to be given there. How can accidentally clipping someones heels be cause for a penalty to be given? So because Danny Collins chased him down and, while watching the ball accidentally had a coming together with Nani he deserves to have a penalty given against him? Err, no.

You can see why a penalty was given? Tell me why - he didn't deliberately foul him, he didn't foul him whatsoever in the slightest.

Saying sour grapes can easily be counter attacked with calling you a biased homer for your team. If you can show me when Uriah Rennie actually got a decision right that would be fantastic because I could have mistaken him for Ray Charles out there. Yes, we were outclassed and 3-0 was acceptable, but there was no need to give a penalty for something that wasn't a penalty. If it was outside the area, I still don't think it should have been given a freekick either. He didn't do anything wrong, but apparently he has to watch the ball in the air and Nani's feet at the same time? Yeah, because thats possible.

I said "accidently clipped", so I'm not saying it SHOULD have been a penalty.

Whenever a player gets in behind the defender and has his heels clipped, intentionally or not, the defender is in trouble. I personally don't think it was a penalty, but I can easily see why Uriah Rennie might've given it, simply because Nani had no reason to dive, so it would look like he was fouled.

And I said sour grapes because United created some decent chances in the 2nd half, and Rooney missed a sitter from 6 yards out - Yes, United weren't as good as they were in the first half, but to be honest, we didn't need to be.

And I can assure you, I'm never a "biased homer" for my team.

Coz I'm gonna be in a great mood after my favourite team's just been humiliated by Saha, possibly one of the worst strikers in the Premiership right now.

EDIT: Yeah, and I don't have sour grapes either. It wasn't a penalty, we've agreed it wasn't a penalty. I've said Man Utd out classed us. Sooo, I don't get it?

Any to be honest, we were probably playing good football in the second half, at least the minute Ronaldo came off. Yeah Man Utd didn't do anything but we began to look like we deserved a goal. Rooney's missed sitter was terrible and got a good singular applause off me in the pub, he really deserved it (much like Saha's first two attempts that both made the corner flag shit itself in fear).

I'm annoyed that we actually began to look like a football side in the second half that was rewarded with a bollocks decision like that.
