Fitzy
I'd consider Nate Diaz mid-level and he's already beaten him. I think Sherk is a step up from Nate.
Guest C-MPH
Dana White was on some Vancouver radio station and suggested that Chuck/Tito could headline the show there.
Numbahs
I think Sherk will beat Guida standing or if he decides to take him down and dominate, like he used to do...
Guest C-MPH
Yves Edwards vs. Per Eklund has been signed for an MFC show on 2/26.
Gene Kiniski
Five Ounces of Pain is reporting that UFC sold a minority percentage of UFC to Sheik Tahoon. He purchased a percentage of the actual event taking place, not the company.
Fitzy
Who says this? Edit: I see TATAME says event, but they are the only ones who say this right now. But this doesn't really make sense, I am sure the original story of the company, not the event, makes more sense.
SeanDMan
Dana White was on some Vancouver radio station and suggested that Chuck/Tito could headline the show there. Since I'm probably going to this show, I'll give this news a MEH. I'd be hyped to watch this fight, but not as the sole headlining fight. I want Lesnar back on that show, as the other popular rumor goes.
Thrilla
I love the fact that Brock is either on the brink of needing surgery and never coming back or already in training and scheduled to come back at a show in the next few months. SeanDMan
It's like he's a pro wrestler again and we're trying to keep his real condition under wraps until he mysteriously shows up at the Royal Rumble.
Thrilla
Rogan: Full mount! Mir has full mount on Nogueira! Goldberg: This one could be seconds away from being over Joe. *Lights in the arena go out* Rogan: What the-? *Lights come back on, Brock Lesnar is in the Octogan* Goldberg: Its Lesnar, Brock Lesnar is here! Rogan: Here comes the pain, daddy! Goldberg: The real world's champion is back in the UFC

Fitzy
Nate Diaz on move to 170: "I really don't think I'm going to stay at 155 pounds," Diaz wrote on GracieFighter.com. "I don't make enough money to have to drop this much weight, so I'd like to fight at 170 and only go to 55's every once in awhile." Also Ben Saunders vs. Martin Kampmann added to 111. Could be a good fight and pulling for Saunders to win this.
Guest C-MPH
Should indeed be a fun fight. As should Duane Ludwig vs. Spencer Fisher at the next Fight Night.
9 to 5
I, too, would love a Saunders win.
ZJ Penn
Nate Diaz to 170lbs is a good move for the UFC as it provides another rare guy who I think has a shot against the Fitch's and Koschecks.
Rich
Does it really though? I mean I like Diaz and his brother, but I wouldn't really consider Nate to be good enough to be considered top 5 in the 170 division, unless cutting to 155 is hurting him that much. Fitzy
Tom Lawlor's Real American entrance: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xbu49m_lawlormania-runnin-wild_sport Yeah, I cannot see Nate competing with the top of the welterweight division at all.
Guest C-MPH
Echoing the sentiments that I doubt Diaz will amount to much at 170. I mean, he might get a shot at GSP since I'd put him on the level of a Dan Hardy or Mike Swick, but Fitch, Koscheck, Alves would all destroy him. Fitzy
And the next challenger to BJ Penn is officially Frankie Edgar. I guess Gray Maynard's boring/poor performance screwed that up for him. Dana White also says it is tentatively planned for 112 in Abu Dhabi. Also, Fighter's ONly Magazine says that Kenny Florian vs. Takanori Gomi might take place on the March 31st Fight Night (which is before the premiere of the next Ultimate Fighter).
