GhostMachine
Glad Al-Hassan didn't suffer a break after all. That armbar was sick, and I can't believe he didn't tap. The Koscheck knock out of Yoshida may just be my favorite actual knock out of the year. And I love it when Mike Swick lives up to his nickname. Damn. Toe
--UFC fans contributed in excess of $4 million last night to the Intrepid Foundation Wow. That is impressive. I didn't know how well the whole charity thing would work, but seeing that number is a refreshing reminder about how kind some people can be. tristy
so did anyone actually watch Adrenaline MMA II tonight? It was pretty fucking good. Highlight was, of course, Miletich's victory over that Jesus lovin' boy.

Fitzy
Spoiler: Click here to viewYeah, that knockout was sweet. Also, Junie really impressed me tonight. Good stuff from him. Krysztof Soszynski going to wrestling school when he was 16 and meeting Bad News Brown who taught him an armbar and kimura that got him into MMA is awesome. Mancuerda
Spoiler: Click here to viewTonight wasn't half bad. I expected a pretty lame night, but we got a pretty weird knockout from Bader to win (which I didn't expect... thought he'd do more ground n pound instead of a looping right hand that was deflected but still knocked Vinny out), a win for Junie (and I'm glad he's maturing a bit), and I'm glad EFRAAAIIIIN put a stop to the Philippe Nover Hype Machine. tristy
that's a pretty gnarly cut, though.
Mancuerda
Unless the guy said, "I can't see" or something, I don't see why they ended that fight...
ZJ Penn
I haven't really had a good look at the cut, but judging by how long they held the towel to his head you can see why it was stopped.
Mancuerda
I've seen worse cuts on The Ultimate Fighter, let alone a real MMA fight, and as long as the blood wasn't hindering his vision, I just see no reason to stop the fight... Even if it's a lot of blood, as long as it isn't getting in his eyes, no reason to stop it.
ZJ Penn
It's not necessarily blood that stops a fight because of a cut though.

Gabriel
I like how they assume that Mayweather drew those numbers for WrestleMania... and not, you know, the actual main event... or the last in ring match of one Nature Boy Ric Flair. ZJ Penn
What was WrestleManias worldwide buy rate?
Fitzy
The biggest pro wrestling event, WWE’s annual WrestleMania, promoted around Mayweather’s debut as a pro wrestler, culminating several live appearances for the group, did 1,058,000 buys worldwide, but WWE does a substantial portion of its business outside North America. North American numbers for the show are estimated at 670,000, putting it as the third biggest event of the year.
