Actually, a game that brought together surviving characters from multiple unrelated games could be really kick ass if done right. Sort of a "Mafia All-Stars" game, so to speak. Though the roles shouldn't automatically go to the players who has them before.

Seriously, that could be a really cool game is the right veteran mod(s) did it.

EDIT: A mafia with a select few of the winners from previous games and an additional mafia I won't mention was my idea like, two pages back. I'll hurry a set up and have sign ups by tomorrow folks.

But the idea is mine.

Someone should do some form of 'All-Star' mafia, where the players are selected by a vote, the moderator is chosen in a similar fashion, and maybe roles as well, or we could play 'All-Star Traditional Mafia'.

I caved, so I'll try my hand at the Civil War mafia. Anyone whose a bit more experienced running them would be helpful as far as abilities and individual roles and what have you go.

As I already mentioned in the other thread, two Marvel-themed mafias at the same time might be overkill?

Also, I agree with everyone who writes pages of analysis to figure out who's scum. I get it by gut instinct.

Someone tell me what the mafia : town ratio should be. I'm almost finished scouting all the roles(it's taken me a bit) but I'm almost done figuring out roles and shit.

EDIT: Also, if you won a mafia and want your guy included PM me your role name and the link to the mafia. Because a lot of mafias with no analysis' at the end I don't bother reading through the entire thread to see what kind of ability the guy has and see if it fits my game, or any other specifics.

In a 20 person game, I think 15 should be town, and 5 should be Mafia/Indy.

In a 30 person game, I think it should be 20 town, and 10 Mafia/Indy.

60-75% is what I try to aim for.

I've heard 'between 25% and 33%', so between 2:1 and 3:1. Seems to work well.
