I'm having fun. It's nice to only be in one game, and convenient that no other games have garnered my attention.

I'm definitely having fun. I'm just pretty busy until Sunday night so I can't read through the tonnes of pages and be of any real use.

I'm enjoying it as well and I think it's only going to get better. Every large game in the history of time has got off to a fast start with the joke posting, flagged severely in the middle and then skyrocketed towards endgame when there's more to talk about and fewer players to work with.

Re: Lie Detectors - Wouldn't it just make sense to limit their usage? ie 1, 2 or maybe 3 times a game? That way they would have to sit back and pick and choose their target.

Combine it with being a night (rather than day) action and I think you'd see less of the problems that arise due to it's inclusion.

Limited usage is also a viable idea, considering that hardly anyone ever lies when they find out a lie detector's in the game.

I've never played with a lie detector until recently. While it is a cool role, I agree a limitation on it would be a good idea, otherwise it is awfully powerful.

Also, really enjoying the game Josh as well as the others I've played here. You Pick is a bit more of a challenge for me cause I've never played anything larger than a 20 person game before, but its definetly been fun.

Which is going to be impossible to fill but so, SO worth it. I look forward to seeing certain roles in action.

That sounds cool. How do you think it would work?

We'll do several rounds.

Each round will have a specific category: Make lie detectors less suck, make standard roles like protector/cop interesting, design a role based around yourself, etc. Or we could have rounds like, this is Batman, give him an interesting role.

Roles will be judged based on balance, flavor, and originality. With maybe 3 judges, we eliminate the bottom few roles each round. Then we settle the final winner with a poll or something.

Winner gets...bragging rights, I suppose. If RW wants to give him some kind of bonus, that's up to him, but I think it'd be a good excersize in helping everyone come up with original roles for their game.

I like the idea - winner gets to run a game / nominate another game of their choice to run immediately outside of the waiting list.
